Hats off to Joe Biden

Have you seen him around? I think you have. He is all over the place. He works from dawn until dusk. His job is complicated. It’s a mixture of many things. But we see him around now more than ever. He hugs. He comforts. He calls out for aid. He connects, he rescues, and he shows the tender beauty that is his soul. It’s our President — Joe Biden.

I do not write articles like this very often. But this particular one cried out to be written. What is happening — and what has happened — between Israel and Hamas is tortuous. It is painful — deeply so — to turn on the News and have to see this.

We want only love. We want rescue for the Hostages. We want as little civilian life lost as humanly possible. That is how President Biden feels, too. And you’ve seen him around, of course you have.

You’ve seen the wise owl come out with wisdom and with grace. He has been in Israel. He continues to talk to both Israelis and Americans, trying as best he can to help in any way possible.

This article is not about one particular thing Biden has done. It is about HIM — The whole person, the humility, and the soul that he has been showing. No wonder Israeli citizens love him the way that they do.

Can you possibly imagine what the cost would have been had Trump been in the office right now? Can one imagine the terror and the calamity?

There are no easy answers to what’s going on now. But I know one thing. This man we see around, gracefully going here, there, and everywhere, showing his love for ALL humanity, for families, for little children, for humanity, is a prize. He is the prize that WE — America — put into office.

If ever there was a man who knows empathy, who knows how to hold the hands of the grieving, gently comfort the grief-stricken, show simple common decency in all the right ways – it is HM — The man we see around and will see around for four more years when he wins in 2024.
