Gym Jordan
Some things never change. Most things do. But in life, there are a few things one can always count on to stay the same throughout eternity. Seven days a week. Four seasons. Gym Jordan is making a fool of himself. Gym. It is a rare pleasure these days when I get to write about the scream-machine that is Gym Jordan. But he is leaving me no choice this week but to write about him.
The reason for that is because Gym has gone bonkers, out of his mind, and is threatening to subpoena — well — everyone. First off, the other day, Ole Gym demanded Merrick Garland come to testify — about alleged DOJ surveillance of a Congressional staffer’s phone and email.
Gym is demanding Garland turn over documents to him about this incident. And Gym chose to do this with a subpoena — you know, the thing guys like him ignore when THEY get one. Ah — if only that was the end of it. But no. Gym clearly suffering from a condition called delusions of grandeur is now threatening to subpoena– Jack Smith. You read that right.
Gym, along with sane and normal Congressman Andy Biggs, sent Smith a letter demanding he break the law(my words) and reveal to them details of the trump investigation. But check out this line. I LOVE this line. It’s Gym and Andy trying to sound serious and failing pretty damned miserably: “If the Department of Justice continues stonewalling the investigation, the committee may be forced to respond to the compulsory process.”
That’ll do it, Jimmy-boy! I’m sure Jack Smith is just terrified of you, Gymbo! Ha ha. Were I Jack Smith, the only place that letter would be going is in the wastepaper basket. These bumbling fools seem to ADORE being publicly humiliated.
On and on they go, trying with desperation to get ANYBODY to take them seriously, and time and time again, nobody ever does. I don’t even think most other Republicans take Gym seriously.
This gives something away, though. Here is what it gives away. They got nothing. When someone is attempting to smear someone else, and they got nothing, their behavior will become increasingly unhinged as frustration rules the day. The shrieking Gym here is the perfect case in point.
