GOP Senator Ron Johnson gets suspended

I love you, Wisconsin. You’re a great state, beautiful with your lakes and green rolling hills, not to mention the cheese curds! But, with all due respect Wisconsin, you sure do hatch some weird folks out there. One of them, Senator Ron Johnson, is in trouble again. Is anybody REALLY surprised?

Youtube has once again suspended Johnson’s channel the reason being given is misinformation (call it what it is — lies) over Covid. In the video that caused all the problems, Johnson dishonestly explained. Covid vaccinations are unsafe to take. Is anybody really surprised?

Youtube did the right thing — they gave the Wisconsin Senator a week’s suspension. This suspension did not succeed in shutting the loony Senator up. Instead, Johnson said this: “Once again, Big Tech is censoring the truth.”

Is anybody REALLY surprised? On the plus side of all this, James Clyburn has come out and endorsed Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes for Senate. He will be running in 2022, possibly against Ron Johnson, should the Youtube conspiracist choose to run again.

Barnes has been in this role since 2019. He also has the distinction of being Wisconsin’s first African American Lieutenant Governor. As for Ron Johnson, he appears to be too busy arguing with Youtube to answer questions about whether he will run again. I hope he will not. But only time will tell on that one.
