California Governor Gavin Newsom is a popular figure with significant clout. Now he’s using that popularity and clout to come out swinging on the national political stage. Newsom is calling out Senator Ted Cruz:

I’m old enough to remember way back in, uh, March 2021, when @tedcruz was OUTRAGED at the idea of book bans, and sold signed copies of Green Eggs and Ham in protest.

Governor Newsom is also working to help Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs get elected as the next Governor of California’s neighboring state of Arizona. Hobbs is a fantastic candidate, and her Republican opponent Kari Lake is an absolute disaster:
