Fox News just stepped in it

Another day, another clueless gaffe from Fox non-news. Before I get into the weeds on this story, I want to comment on the fact that with Fox, I have the ability to predict their every move, and so I expected this one.

This is not because I’m a psychic, friend, and reader. It’s because Fox is a shitty network made up of professional liars who lie for a living, and with that kind of thing, it’s easy to know where they’re going to go on a particular story.

“No American Hostages released from Hamas yet.” This came on Sunday in the form of a graphic on the dishonest fox while “Host” Rachel Campos-Duffy spoke. Duffy seemed eager to remind the audience that no American hostages have been released by Hamas.

Duffy no doubt said this because the other night, Trump had posted on truth social saying the same thing. Where Trump goes the fox is sure to be nipping at his heels. There is just one problem with that statement from Duffy. It’s false.

First off, two American hostages were released in October. Their names are Judith Raanan, and her daughter is Natalie. Second, 4-year-old Abigail Edan was released on Sunday, included in the third group of hostages. In fact, President Biden said she was receiving lots of love and support.

How dare Fox use the hostage negotiations to try and get at Biden. This is particularly heinous. President Biden is loved — by Israel as well as by Americans. Has ANYONE at Fox any IDEA how difficult these negotiations are? And President Biden has been a big part of them.

We watch the release of many of the hostages with joy – of course, mixed with sadness for all of the loss. Fox has once again failed at their job. NOBODY should ever play politics with these hostages. Isn’t that just like Fox, though. I don’t suppose they will ever learn.
