Jim Jordan, who’s so unpopular with his own House Republican colleagues that he couldn’t get his party’s nomination for Speaker even after Donald Trump endorsed him, is becoming irrelevant in all but decibel level. No one on either side watches his sham hearings anymore. And now he’s reduced to trying to annoy prosecutors into submission.

Jordan keeps sending letters to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, ‘requesting’ information on her criminal prosecution of Donald Trump. Jordan knows he has no jurisdiction whatsoever, so he’s pulling his punches. He keeps sending Willis mere requests instead of subpoenas.

Now Willis firing back with a publicly released letter in which she not only rips Jordan a new one, but also reminds Jordan that if not for the speech and debate clause, she’d be prosecuting him for obstruction.

In other words, just as Palmer Report said it would be from the start, Jim Jordan’s “investigation” into the Fani Willis probe is a whole lot of nothing. Jordan knows he has no jurisdiction, which is why he’s pulling his punches. Accordingly, Willis can’t prosecute Jordan for obstruction, but she’s clearly not afraid to periodically remind him that she knows he’s completely powerless. Willis’ prosecution will play out the way it’s supposed to, and Jordan’s grandstanding will have no impact whatsoever.
