Fani Willis drops the hammer on Gym Jordan
It can’t be stressed enough that House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim “Gym” Jordan can’t actually do anything to interfere with Fulton County DA Fani Willis’ criminal prosecution of Donald Trump. Jordan can jump up and down, send threatening letters, and hold bogus hearings – but it’ll all just be for show.
That said, Fani Willis has had just about enough of Jordan’s antics. He sent her a letter “requesting” more information on the probe, which is his way of trying to fall just shy of committing obstruction of justice. But Willis is firing back, accusing Jordan of “partisan political objectives” and stating that Jordan lacks a “basic understanding of the law.”
In other words, Fani Willis isn’t much worried about Jim Jordan. She sees that what he’s doing is little more than ankle-biting for attention. He’s an idiot, and she’s rubbing it in his face. Meanwhile Willis’ prosecution of Donald Trump and the rest of the “Trump 19” will continue unabated. Jordan should consider himself lucky he’s not among those being prosecuted – and in that regard the night is still young.
