Even Donald Trump’s CDC Director admits we’re screwed
Donald Trump is desperate to sweep the coronavirus pandemic under the rug and reopen the country, because if the economy remains shuttered much longer, it’s a near guarantee he’ll lose the election. But reopening the country during a pandemic is a disastrous move – and even Trump’s own CDC Director Robert Redfield just confirmed that the death toll is about to get uglier:

There’s very little we can do right now to keep people from running out and recklessly infecting themselves and each other. All we can do is stay home and stay safe, as these idiots ensure that a second coronavirus wave happens sooner rather than later. At this point we could end up with a “second wave” while the first wave is still going strong. Stay home. Stay safe.
