Eric Swalwell just nailed it
Representative Eric Swalwell recently tweeted this: “Every cop who saved my ass (and democracy) on January 6…that’s my #personoftheyear.” I could not agree more with Rep. Swalwell’s tweet.
Time goes so fast! And here we are at the end of another year. And as we stand on the edge of a new year, let’s not forget some of the heroes who brought us here.
As Swalwell says, thank you, heroes. Thank you, brave Capitol Police. Thank you for your heroic actions on the day of January 6, in particular.
Thank you, brave teachers and school board members who are standing up for the children. We owe you a debt of gratitude.
Thank you to the parents whose love for their children shines as bright as the shimmer of starlight.
And thank you to courageous Covid front-line workers.
Thank you to the doctors, the nurses, all the hospital staff who have worked so hard and so selflessly. You define the word “hero.”
Thank you to the brave activists who put it all out there to topple a monster and install a decent and kind President.
Thank you to Palmer Report Readers for your intelligence and passion for transforming America even more. And thank you to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. We could not be more proud of you.
