Elizabeth Warren just pulled off another stunner

This week Elizabeth Warren appeared on the Rachel Maddow show after dropping out of the race, and called on Bernie Sanders to get a grip on his most toxic fans. In so doing, Warren all but endorsed Joe Biden by default, stunning everyone. Now Warren has pulled off another stunner, of a different kind.

Last night’s opener had Kate McKinnon (who usually portrays Elizabeth Warren on the show) portraying Laura Ingraham, and interviewing the real Elizabeth Warren.

The real Warren didn’t hesitate to brag about having taken down Mike Bloomberg, gloating that she gave him a “swirlie” on live national television. Warren was genuinely funny. But the real laughs came when Kate McKinnon changed her outfit mid-sketch and appeared as Elizabeth Warren, alongside the real Elizabeth Warren.
