When Donald Trump told his (stolen) snake story, all those years ago it was obvious he was referring to himself. He was the snake, surrounded by his loyal snake pit of hypnotized, sycophantic vipers. But now we are beginning to see Justice. And it is taking a big, relishing bite out of the snake.

Investigation after investigation has been launched into Trump. Undoubtedly he will be indicted. And now we know the January 6 committee will subpoena him, although he will likely try to fight the subpoena.

Kudos to the committee for having, over the last few months, presented stunning evidence of just who Donald Trump is and what he wanted to do the day of January 6. “We are obligated to seek answers directly from the man who set this all in motion,” Liz Cheney said in the hearing this week. “And every American is entitled to answers.”

Indeed we are. But one answer has already been given to us. It is that Donald Trump has been conquered – neutered. Quelled. His influence is gone for good. And that’s why voting is so very urgent. Because the threat now is from the baby vipers that Trump created.

These are vipers such as JD Vance, Ron Johnson, Marco Rubio, Herschel Walker, and Mehmet Oz. The snake pit is still slithery, you see. Only the creator has left the building. It is the destruction that he left behind that we must continue to fight against.

I hope that all of you reading this will sit down and think of three or four people you know who might not be regular voters who you can call and talk to about voting. This election is the MOST important of our lifetimes, just as the Presidential election of 2020 was equally important. This election will define us and enable us to throw out the snake pit with its seething and poisonous masses of liars, psychos, and election deniers — for good.
