Have you ever watched the moon hovering over a lake late at night? There is nothing like seeing the garden of beauty that is the overnight hours. Some people see it more often than others. Insomniacs see it quite a lot.

Many people have trouble sleeping these days. Nighttime is the right time for thoughts — a summary of the day’s — or perhaps the week’s — events to play themselves out in one’s head.

Insomnia does many things for many people. One thing that Insomnia is doing for SOMEONE right now, not in the past — in the present — is giving certain prosecutors such as Jack Smith lots of food for thought.

This is because, according to the Washington Post, Trump insiders are — to put it bluntly — losing their shit. This is because the object of their devotion will not shut up.

Trump, who most definitely suffers from insomnia, at least sometimes, is dismaying people around him by making public comments that might give prosecutors more leverage against him — not they NEED anything more, but still — every little bit helps, as you know.

According to WAPO, Trump’s diatribes about ‘Bibi” — Benjamin Netanyahu — are giving people in Trump’s circle a headache. Also giving them headaches are Trump’s piddling rallies where he regularly says he was justified in keeping classified documents.

The post says one intelligence official who at one time served while Trump was in office is utterly horrified, saying Trump is still discussing things that are classified information.

And reportedly, some of this verbal garbage of Trump’s to quote WAPO “May make an appearance when the mar-a-Lago case goes to trial.” This is why, despite the fact that we all despise the traitor and wish he’d shut up, it is a good thing in a way that he does not.

As I said at the beginning of this article, insomnia means different things to different people. For some, the late night is a time when the creative juices flow. Still others might gaze out at the stars, the sea, if they are in view, have a cup of tea, and ponder the universe.

And for others — like orange criminals — a more ominous agenda comes into play. For these dark and damaged people, when their lack of sleep overtakes them, it is the time they say things that they shouldn’t.

It is time they let it rip in torrents of words that perhaps would not have escaped their mouths had they been less sleep-deprived. For example, they might say things that a skilled and smart prosecutor — particularly those real brilliant ones who have prosecuted war crimes — might become aware of — always to the detriment of the one letting loose the words.
