Donald Trump’s day just keeps getting worse for him
The stock market bounced back today, regaining about one-fourth of what it lost last week. So now the Dow Jones is only down twelve percent over the past six days. This is what counts for good news for Donald Trump at this point. Six people in the United States have now tragically died of the coronavirus, a number that’s likely to accelerate.
On the political side, things are getting uglier for Donald Trump by the hour. Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg are both attending Joe Biden’s rally tonight in order to endorse him for president, thus sharply increasing the odds that Biden ends up being the nominee.
Trump is so afraid of running against Biden, he got himself impeached while trying to knock Biden out of the race. Not surprisingly, Trump is whining rather loudly on Twitter right now, insisting that Amy, Pete, and Biden are somehow staging a “coup” against Bernie Sanders, the one guy Trump really wanted to run against, because Trump knows Sanders is the one guy he can beat. But it doesn’t look like Trump is going to get his way.
