Donald Trump is not well

Let’s for a minute imagine that Donald Trump is in prison. (What a delicious thought.) He will undoubtedly be bored. And he might need some reading material. Of course, there’s the pesky little fact that the man doesn’t read. That could be a problem. But perhaps in prison, he could learn.

Anyway, I have the perfect book for him. It’s called “I’m OK — You’re OK” by Thomas Anthony Harris. This book which is quite old now, is a practical guide to solving problems in life. The author describes four life positions:

“I’m not OK, Your’re not OK.”

“I’m not OK, you’re OK.”

“I’m OK, you’re not OK.”

“I’m OK, you’re OK.”

The first three positions are thought to be unhealthy worldviews. Ultimately one wants to get to the “I’m OK, You’re OK” position.

Donald Trump is not OK. Only he believes he is. His view — and one doesn’t need to be a psychologist to figure this out — is, “I’m OK; you’re not OK.” That’s a terrible space to be in. It’s also where vanity comes to roost.

And we know that Donald’s Achilles heel is that he is OK and the rest of the world is crazy. Let us look together at Trump’s “not OK” Easter message — because it tells us a lot. The message originated on truth special and was in all caps.

“HAPPY EASTER TO ALL, INCLUDING THOSE THAT DREAM ENDLESSLY OF DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY,” the not-OK madman began.

“BECAUSE THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF DREAMING ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE.”

He doesn’t think they’re OK, now, does he?

“THOSE THAT ARE SO INCOMPETENT THEY DON’T REALIZE THAT HAVING A BORDER AND POWERFUL WALL IS A GOOD THING.”

I don’t think he’s having a nice sunny day, readers, do you?

‘ALL OF THOSE WEAK & PATHETIC RINOS, RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRATS,”

Paging rubber room. I think you’re needed here.

“SOCIALISTS, MARXISTS & COMMUNITIES WHO ARE KILLING OUR NATION,”

Such poise. Such technique.

“REMEMBER, WE WILL BE BACK.”

So — that’s Donald Trump’s Easter. Spitting out how others are not OK and he is. Such a sad way to spend Easter, don’t you agree? I wonder if Melania, who seems to have temporarily disappeared, sat down to eat Easter dinner with him. I wonder if any “friends?” came around. Probably just Lindsey Graham. So yes, Trump could stand to read a book like ‘I’m OK, You’re OK.” Because Donald Trump is not OK, Donald Trump is a walking, (sometimes) talking disaster. Happy Easter, Donnie.
