Donald Trump is heading for rubber room territory

I really believe Donald Trump is heading for rubber room territory. This is because Trump seems to still believes he is the president. He has released a video that contains Trump giving a speech authorizing military action against drug cartels in Mexico.

There’s a catch, though. Trump can’t authorize jack shit because he isn’t the president. That does not matter to Trump, who spoke from the halls of Mar-a-Lago, a far cry from the White House. Now at first, Trump used the words “When I am president” — showing that at least his brain understood he was not the person in charge anymore.

However, he then did a one-eighty, saying the situation in Mexico was far too urgent to wait. He also declared something needs to be done immediately, or “our country is gone.” Luckily nobody on cable news appeared to air this video, although people are talking about it.

But only a few care about what Trump says these days, and it’s showing. In the meantime, Trump may have another reason to be unhappy. Jack Smith arrived back in the United States, which does not provide good news for his royal traitor.

On top of that, his protege McCarthy can’t win the Speaker position, and some of the alt-right has finally stood up to him by not listening to his calls for uniting around McCarthy. This is the first week of the New Year, and for Donald Trump, his 2023 is starting with a whimper.
