Donald Trump is having an absolutely manic meltdown right now

Donald Trump keeps complaining that between attending his various courtroom trials (where he’s losing) and campaigning in the early primary states (where he’s underperforming), he doesn’t have enough time to focus on everything. That’s odd, given that he seems to have plenty of time to post things on social media all day – and in this instance all night.

Over the past hour, Trump has made a whopping thirty-seven social media posts about E. Jean Carroll in the past hour. Some of them are first person rants about how he supposedly has no idea who she even is (which could be true at this point given his worsening dementia). Some of them are aimed at portraying Carroll as some kind of villain. And some of them are just plain incoherent. But who makes thirty-seven social media posts in an hour, after midnight, about the same topic?

This goes to show – assuming that an increasingly addled Trump is actually doing his own social media posting – that he’s totally panicked over his trials. It’s bad enough for him that he’s going to lose this second trial to E. Jean Carroll and lose millions more dollars in the process. Then it’ll be onto his criminal trials, which will send him to prison when he loses them.
