Donald Trump has insanely senile meltdown about Hannibal Lecter

Is Donald Trump’s increasingly bizarre behavior in public because he’s insane or because he’s senile? Both. Trump is becoming more and more creepily unhinged, but he’s also becoming more and more empty headed. This was summed up most succinctly in one bizarre moment over the weekend.

During what was supposed to be a political speech, Trump went off script and professed his love for the movie Silence of the Lambs: “Hannibal Lecter, how great of an actor was he? You know why I like him? Because he said on television or one of the… ‘I love Donald Trump.” So I love him.”

We’re not even sure where to start with this. Hannibal Lecter wasn’t an actor, he was a fictional serial killer. So Trump is declaring his love for a serial killer. And if Trump was trying to refer to the actor who portrayed Hannibal Lecter, suffice it to say that Anthony Hopkins is no fan of Trump based on his public remarks.

So Donald Trump is bragging that a fictional serial killer loves him, and may think that the fictional serial killer and the actor who portrayed him are the same person, when in fact the actor has nothing good to say about him. That’s deranged and senile. Trump’s brain is a bag of jello, and it’s getting more moldy by the hour.
