Donald Trump goes on hilariously delusional bender about how Alvin Bragg is dropping the case against him

If Donald Trump has one surefire giveaway, it’s that when he knows for certain he’s about to lose, he suddenly claims that the other side is about to forfeit. For instance, back when Trump learned that Alvin Bragg’s grand jury was about to indict him, Trump falsely announced on social media that Bragg had decided to drop the case.

In an equally telling move, Trump has announced once again on social media tonight that Bragg is dropping the case against him. Well, at least that’s what we think this word salad says: “People are thinking that Soros backed D.A., Alvin Bragg, who never wanted to bring the Witch Hunt against me in the first place, is going to drop this ridiculous and very unpatriotic “CASE” in order to save lots of money, and also the self respect of his once revered Office.”

In other words, Trump just admitted that he now fully expects to be convicted in this trial. Of course these days Trump is so deep into dementia, it’s possible his babysitters have told him Bragg is dropping the case just to try to cheer him up, and Trump is far gone enough to actually believe it. In any case, this is the surest sign yet that Trump is very likely headed for conviction.
