It is truly a marvel how shitty the last few weeks have been for Donald Trump. At this rate, I am wondering if insanity will claim him before prison does. Let’s take a look at just some of the issues which have made their way into Trump’s life lately.
Trump’s gambit in the courts failed. His beloved Judge Cannon could not prevent the inevitable. The Justice Department has the documents back and has once again resumed its investigation.
He has been scolded by his own special Master. I am reminded of my fellow writer Lorraine Evanoff’s exquisite article, “Trumping Fate” about the symbolism of names. I think “Dearie” most definitely has some symbolism.
And the nail in Trump’s coffin was the eleventh circuit ruling against him. ALL THREE Judges — two appointed by Trump — brushed him aside like Mike Pence’s fly. That must have infuriated him.
Trump is being sued for millions of dollars. This litigation has (more than) the potential to ruin him. And no doubt he knows it. Then there is the investigation in Georgia which also isn’t looking good for Trump. And going on Fox non-news and claiming he has psychic powers to Sean Hannity likely didn’t help his cause.
These comments once again turned him into a laughing stock. This appears to be a regular thing. And we are witnessing Trump slowly losing his mind. His plunge into madness has begun. Believe me; I am not the only one saying this. Everyone is — for the reasons mentioned above.
Think about it. If the average person on the street claimed they could declassify Government documents with their mind, we’d probably all agree that person needed deep psychiatric help.
Trump is still posting mad rantings on Truth Social. He is lashing out at everyone from Don Lemon to Letitia James. It’s all in vain, though.
The prospect of someone going mad would usually make me feel sorrowful. Not this time, though. Donald Trump is one of the most corrupt, evil, pathetic human beings ever to walk this earth, and I greet his plunge into madness with nothing but joy. And I say: it’s about time.
