Donald Trump has lost his appeal to the 11th Circuit to delay a hearing until January. The 11th circuit instead chose to grant the Department of Justice’s appeal to expedite the matter.

The order which came down from the 11th circuit on Wednesday set a schedule with a wrap up date on November 17. This is hardly what Trump and his legal team wanted, but it does signal another win for the Department of Justice. The court had the following to say:

“Having consulted with the Chief Judge, the appeal will be assigned to a special merits panel from the classified appeals log randomly selected by the Clerk. That panel will decide when and how to hear argument.”

It is not at all surprising that the department of Justice keeps scoring all these victories. Why wouldn’t they? Trump’s legal team is in shambles, they don’t seem to know what they’re doing, and the DOJ has been ahead of them every step of the way. This is good news for the Department of Justice. It is terrible news for the Trump team, but Donald and company should be very used to losing at this point.
