If you’ve spent the past year watching Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s various inroads into the Trump-Russia investigation playing out, and wondering when and how they’re all finally going to tie together, you’re finally getting your answer: now. Palmer Report has long been pointing to the pattern in which Mueller’s endeavors all seemed to be lining up to coalesce right after the Paul Manafort verdict comes in, and sure enough, everything is about to hit the fan at once.

This evening we got confirmation that the Feds are preparing to criminally charge Michael Cohen within the next twelve days if he doesn’t cut a plea deal. Although the SDNY is handling Cohen’s case, it’s nonetheless a key piece of Mueller’s gameplan. Why is the Cohen timeframe important? Because it fits with so many other Mueller timeframes. We’re now just a few days from the Manafort verdict, and even if he’s convicted on any of the eighteen charges, it’ll give Mueller the leverage he needs to begin bulldozing. Some of his imminent targets are already clear.

It’s not just Michael Cohen who’s on the verge of arrest. Robert Mueller has set things up so George Papadopoulos will be sentenced to prison on September 7th, which fits in the same timeline. In addition, Mueller’s publicly documented grand jury proceedings make clear that he’s winding his way through the very last witnesses against Roger Stone and Julian Assange. That means the indictment and arrest of Stone is around the corner. If Mueller is indeed indicting Stone and Assange in parallel, and there’s no reason why he wouldn’t, then you can look at Ecuador’s sudden decision to hand Assange over to the UK, which has an extradition treaty with the U.S., and take that as a possible sign that Mueller is going to arrest Assange as well.

This is, of course, just the stuff we know about. We’ve only known about the grand jury progress against Roger Stone because most of his associates have big mouths. Normally we wouldn’t know these things. So we have no way of knowing who else Robert Mueller is on the verge of indicting and arresting. We do, however, see a clear pattern in which everything hits the fan over the next couple weeks. That can’t be a coincidence – Mueller has lined all of this up on purpose – and he’s going for shock and awe.
