Bring on the stupid

Make no mistake. Everything that’s happening with the government shutdown right now has to do with the Republicans and their one campaign issue. That issue is Donald John Trump. I mean this with all sincerity. The Republican Party is already unrecognizable, and its current incarnation has shown members with empty heads, when it comes to having any kind of political platform whatsoever, except for one.

Yes, there is one campaign issue that dominates with increased ghoulishness in the hearts and minds of the Republican party. Their only campaign issue is saving Donald Trump.

The GOP seems to be ensconced in a whirlpool of denial, where the bubbling of the hot water beats out a steady drum of two words and a few words only. Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Donald Trump.

“Saving Donald Trump” lives in their brains from the time they awaken in the morning until when they go to sleep. We have so much evidence for this that were I to put it before a Jury, I am certain the verdict would be unanimous. The verdict would be: Guilty.

Trump, as I write these words, is still calling on his little baby monsters to shut down the government. There is a myriad of ways to keep the government open, but Republicans seem to be trapped in the sticky spider web. This sick and psychotic master they pledged loyalty to, never appears to tire of barking orders at them, which they rush to fulfill with eagerness.

If the government is shut down, (and that’s not a given yet), this will be a shutdown owned not by Donald Trump but by the Republican Party. It will be owned by Kevin McCarthy. It will be owned by Matt Gaetz. It will be owned by a whole lotta stupid GOP members , wimps, part of a “party” that nobody can recognize anymore, a GOP that is glazed over in servitude of a madman.
