Another one bites the dust

We all watched the other day as Rudy Giuliani got what was coming to him. It was a long time coming, but it happened. It got me thinking of all of the people who have knowingly ruined their lives because of Donald John Trump.

What if Donald Trump had never entered the lives? Would the transformation have still happened or was it unique only to Trump? It’s like a curse, is it not? It’s not only that all these people come into contact with Trump and seemingly lose their brains. It’s also that they age.

It’s like a time machine at warped full speed, instead of the fountain of youth these people find the fountain of ravishment. All of Trump’s victims wind up looking like they’ve been put through meat grinders.

Let’s talk about a few. Lindsey Graham. Mark Meadows. There is, of course, Kevin McCarthy, who destroyed his own career over Donald Trump. There are the Senators, the House members, and all of the politicians.

There are the lawyers, the not so bold, and not so beautiful. Scores of people who have watched their lives self-destruct all because of the curse of Donald Trump. We watched in real time as Rudy Giuliani went from America’s mayor to America’s liar. Now one could argue Giuliani was never really America’s mayor. I certainly think that.

But why do so many people throw their lives away for Donald Trump? What kind of hold does he have over these people? Do these people ever look in the mirror, ever reflect on how just awful their lives have become since letting Donald Trump into them?

Many have said that in private most or all Republicans secretly despise Donald Trump, but they are terrified of his base and they can’t come out and say it. Until they do say it, the curse of Donald Trump will always be with them.

They’re never going to be able to move about naturally, fluidly, they will always be frightened little birds looking over their shoulders. It’s a real life doomsday because you give up your freedom to live in servitude to someone else. How could one welcome joy when one is in servitude? It’s a living hell, it’s living in a curse that they can’t eradicate, all in servitude to Donald John Trump.
