ALL TIME HIGH
Just like the never-ending ebb and flow of the sea, some things are infinite and never end. The GOP’s hatred of women is most definitely one of those things. A blue hourglass, an hourglass where the sands of time run through it, an hourglass that never empties of Republican hate for women — all women.
But I come bearing gifts. You see, the American people love freedom for everyone, including women. What they do NOT love and never will love are Republican men. Take a look at this new poll.
“A record number of Americans (66%) now support legal abortion in some or all cases, the highest level of support EVER recorded by the poll in its two decade history.”
This is indeed a gift. America is watching. America is not that happy with the GOP right now. In fact, they appear to be enraged. This new Quinnipiac poll released on Wednesday indeed shows almost 70 percent of people favor abortion being legal.
But that is not all that far from it. Should abortion be ILLEGAL in all cases? The figure who believes that stands at — 5%. FIVE PERCENT! Did you hear that groan of discontent? That was the antichoice movement, saying bye-bye!
The American people, dear readers, have spoken! And what they are saying to the GOP is: you suck Even some people in MAGA seem to know it.
“We went to far didn’t we?”
“This might cost us the election.”
Those comments are from Republican message boards. The mood on this issue over in MAGA-ville is not upbeat. We have lots of work to do to win it all, but we will do that work, and we will win it all.
And years from now, when bewildered Republicans stumble around blankly, hourglasses still filled with hate, perhaps the Republican party will be merely a blip on history’s radar.
