Donald Trump has deranged all-caps meltdown as it sets in for him that he’s being impeached today

For once in his life, Donald Trump has failed to fend off the consequences for his crimes. He stole his way into pseudo-wealth. He assaulted countless women. He treasonously stole the presidency. He’s been boxed in by his crimes for awhile, to the point that he can’t leave the presidency without being immediately arrested – but he hasn’t faced the music yet. Today, however, even Trump’s presidency is being branded with an asterisk, and it’s likely to be the first in a series of worsening defeats for him.

Yesterday Donald Trump sent Speaker of the House an unhinged six page letter that read like the Unabomber manifesto. Earlier today, Trump tweeted “say a prayer” but – perhaps not surprisingly considering he has the poorest understanding of religion of anyone on the planet – he didn’t bother to say who needed the prayers. Now Trump has somehow managed to top himself.

Trump posted this alarming all-caps tweet this afternoon, even as the House impeachment hearings were playing out on live television: “SUCH ATROCIOUS LIES BY THE RADICAL LEFT, DO NOTHING DEMOCRATS. THIS IS AN ASSAULT ON AMERICA, AND AN ASSAULT ON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!!!” Yeah okay then.

Donald Trump keeps proving that he’s not mentally stable enough to be allowed to walk down the sidewalk unsupervised, let alone mentally stable enough to be President of the United States. Pelosi once said that Trump would impeach himself. Turns out she was correct.
