Donald Trump’s big swing and miss
Whenever Donald Trump talks, a part of me struggles. This is because listening to Donald John Trump garble is akin to attempting to understand someone stuck underneath the water, trying to make themselves heard from a depth of 300m in a submarine.
Now, Donald Trump usually does NOT talk unless it is on truth social. However, he still unfortunately makes himself heard in his legal filings, of which he never seems to tire of filing. And on Thursday, Trump’s team filed a motion asking that Jack Smith and two of his deputies be held in contempt of court.
The creep show never does end. They claim that Smith violated Judge Chutkan’s order that froze the case until the Supreme Court could hear it. The lawyers demand Smith “explain himself” and why he should not be held in contempt of court.
I’ve got a strange feeling, readers. I’ve got a feeling that Donald Trump is behind this. Our orange madman is so jealous of Smith, and this is what he does when he gets jealous- he files frivolous motions. Smith has not violated any order. He’s made a few filings, one of which was a memo asking Chutkan to stop Trump from presenting misinformation at trial.
Oh yes — one other nugget. The lawyers want Jack Smith to pay some of Donald Trump’s legal bills. Ha! I’ve often said it, and I’ll say it again. People get DUMBER just being NEAR the Donnie three-scoops of treason.
I seriously doubt Smith will be held in contempt, although it is as plain as day that is what Trump would love. Alas, we don’t always get what we want, as the Rolling Stones say. I doubt that Trump will get this demand fulfilled.
