South Carolina Senator Tim Scott has launched a “presidential exploratory committee, “basically meaning he’s running for president. Scott is someone I used to worry about, though not so much anymore. I’ll give you a few reasons why I don’t worry as much about Scott being a serious Presidential contender.

Number one — he’s not a great public speaker.

Number two– he’s black, and Republicans — well — they have a problem with minorities.

Three. Tim Scott, I predict, will be like Nikki Haley. He will NEVER be able to stand up against Trump. EVER.

Four — he has a habit of putting his foot in his mouth and saying very stupid things.

Five. He’s a people-pleaser. Scott’s already trying to bill himself as the guy who works with both parties, the jolly guy, the peace-maker, the oh-happy days are here again, guy.

Smiling with fake positivity, Scott seems to be planning to bill himself as a mild-mannered safe choice, a man with a plan, and that plan is — to say whatever his handlers tell him to say while desperately hoping nobody will ask him about Donald Trump.

See, I think under ordinary circumstances, Scott could be a concern. Only these aren’t ordinary circumstances.

We’re in a place where no Republican can win the nomination if they don’t stand up to Trump. Tim Scott will never do that. I just don’t see it. He and Haley will battle it out to be South Carolina’s nominee, and in the end, both will lose.
