Growing up, many of us had toys, dolls, or stuffed animals for companions. You could see these toys scattered about in the rooms of children. Little stuffed bunnies and bears. Lavish Dollhouses. These things were just part of the childhoods of many.

And so too did many children watch cartoons — Bugs Bunny. Porky Pig. The Roadrunner. Mickey Mouse. And let us, too, remember the magic of Disney. For those of us who got to witness “The mad teacups”,” it’s a small world”, and other wonders of Disney, it was quite imaginative and fun.

Now let us imagine if, say, two of the mythical beings got into an argument. What would that look like? We’re witnessing one right now. It’s the battle of Mickey Mouse Versus Medusa’s brother — Ron DeSantis! “I’ll get them yet.” This is what Medusa’s brother surely must be thinking.

There is no end to the battle of Mickey versus Medusa’s brother. It grows and grows, and so far, the Mouse is reaching for the gold.

In fact, Medusa’s brother seems to be addicted to the battle. It’s even having repercussions for his possible presidential run, as all he can seem to think about is foiling the Mouse — to the neglect of much else.

Alas, it is not happening for the monster. Mickey is winning (and laughing) as he persists in making a fool out of DeSantis This battle has been going on for quite some time since Mickey dared to stand up to Medusa’s brother.

DeSantis had tried to exert control over Disney and Reedy Creek. Reedy governs Disney and has since 1967. Only DeSantis did not like that and dissolved the deal, appointing his own people to provide oversight.

But DeSantis was foiled when Disney made a quiet deal with Reedy Creek that gave Disney maximum oversight and effectively dissolved the Board DeSantis had put together. And now DeSantis is trying to void Disney’s Reedy Creek deal.

“Come hell or high water,” Mister Medusa vowed, he’d find a way! He’d find a way to void Disney’s new deal with Reedy Creek and win the day!

“We’re going to win on every single issue involving Disney,” proclaimed Medusa’s brother in a speech in Michigan.

REALLY, Ron? I mean — let’s look at this thing realistically. You have not won ONCE yet. Everywhere you turn, and everywhere you go, the Mouse outsmarts you. So now we have discovered Ron’s weakness, his Achilles heel — being right.

Ron DeSantis wants to be right about everything. And he’s going nuts because everywhere he turns, he sees the smiling face of the Mouse — Mickey Mouse — the coolest Mouse — who keeps outsmarting him and winning and winning and winning.
