Bernie Sanders is absolutely right about this
Bernie Sanders is right: the media has done a terribly negligent job of covering what’s in the Biden infrastructure plan. Instead the media has simply chased ratings by falsely yelling at every step of the way that the infrastructure plan was “doomed.”
It’s not the media’s job to act as cheerleader for good legislation. But it is the media’s job go accurately cover good legislation. When the media instead spends its time presenting histrionic and inaccurate doomsday takes on the legislation’s fate, that’s not in any way legitimate. The public deserves better.
