There are so many awful GOP governors in this country, it would be pretty challenging to choose the worst. Just think about it–so much incompetence. So much cooing over the former guy. Who could possibly say which one is the worst one? But South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem would have to be at the top of the list.

Noem is most definitely part of the Right-wing feeding frenzy of the former guy sycophants. She does seem more interested in “owning the libs” than she really does about doing her job-maybe because she doesn’t know how to do it.

So, Noem is this week’s laughing stock. I am sure next week it will be yet another Governor, but for now, anyway, Noem is the object of scorn.

Noem appears to be upset that the Biden administration did not allow a fireworks display on Mount Rushmore. Determined to score political points off of this, Noem posted an image of breathtaking fireworks lighting up the mountain, unfortunately with the horrendous caption “Trump’s America.”

Don’t these people think before they act? The answer to that question, of course, is no, they do not. The incompetent Governor also posted an image of her glum family standing with no fireworks and titled it “Biden’s America.”

Only there was a problem just waiting to make itself known. It turns out the former guy’s photo was sort of fake. You see, it had been taken in 2015. Barack Obama was President at that time.

Noem also used the photo without attribution to the photographer, who was identified as Matt Halvorson. So, as you might have guessed, Noem is being pilloried right now. And she is the one who wound up being “owned,” taking the phrase to exciting new heights.

Note to Noem: how about next time you want to show images of “Trump’s America” you post a photo of the mayhem on January 6? That is the best representation I can think of.
