Ted Lieu slam dunks Matt Gaetz
Last night we all learned that the federal criminal investigation into Matt Gaetz includes whether he illegally accepted gifts (including sex with paid escorts) in exchange for political influence from lobbyists. This points to fundamental political corruption, on top of the disgusting things we already knew Gaetz was being investigated for.
Yet House Republicans are still allowing Matt Gaetz to serve on committees, because they have no idea how to handle the situation. Congressman Ted Lieu is having none of it:

In reality, with Democrats in control of the House Judiciary Committee, Matt Gaetz can’t realistically use his position to sabotage the criminal investigation into him. But it’s nonetheless highly improper for Gaetz to still be on the committee. It’s important for Democrats and liberal activists to continue driving home the point that the Republican Party is the party of Matt Gaetz and his sleaze.
