Here come the sedition charges

Michael Sherwin, the US Atty for DC, stated on 60 minutes Sunday that federal investigators had found enough evidence for some, without naming names, to be charged with sedition for the events of Jan. 6th.

A simple definition of sedition is any action, statement or speech responsible for incitement to (or aiming to) overthrow the government or a particular governmental authority. And who exactly did this the most? You got it — former President Trump did.

The DOJ has already filed charges against 400, which have not included any charges of sedition as of the 60 minutes interview. Sherman said he will pursue sedition charges, but there is no word yet as to when these charges will be made. Sherman did say, “This is only the beginning.”

Federal investigators are still scouring over 100,000 pieces of digital media received from the public, reports the Associated Press. I will be waiting with bated breath.
