Joe Biden has only been President-elect of the United States since yesterday, but he’s already given the victory speech of a lifetime and set the stage for rolling out his pandemic task force tomorrow. Now he’s letting it be known that he’s going to immediately clean up some of Trump’s most egregious messes.

Biden is letting it be known that on the first day he takes office he’ll take executive action to undo Donald Trump’s positions on the Muslim ban, immigration, and the pandemic. This was expected, of course. But it’s a reminder that the mere act of changing out the President of the Untied States will quickly bring an end to some of these nightmare policies.

Of course there’s only so much that President Joe Biden will be constitutionally allowed to do with executive action and executive orders. If he wants to be able to actually legislate and carry out a broad agenda, he’ll need control of the Senate. That’ll come down to the two runoff elections in Georgia. You can donate to the two Democratic candidates here.
