During his press conference on Friday, Donald Trump looked like a defeated man. He had the appearance of someone who hadn’t slept all night, and who feared that his life was in danger of being completely upended. It was a hint at just how worried Trump is about his military scandal, and the impact that it could have on the election.

Now Trump is providing us with an even more direct clue about how worried he is about this scandal and what all it could cost him. This morning Trump posted one of his whiniest Twitter rants to date, sounding utterly defeated in the process:

You work so hard for the military, from completely rebuilding a depleted mess that was left by OBiden, to fixing a broken V.A. and fighting for large scale military pay raises, and then a slimeball reporter, maybe working with disgruntled people, makes up such a horrible charge. This reminds me of the Dirty Dossier, which was pushed hard by John McCain, & then with a thud turned out to be a total fraud. So many other scams also. The Radical Far Left is VICIOUS, they will do or say anything to win. But they won’t, we will WIN, & have four great years!

Yes, he threw in the obligatory part at the end about how he’s going to win. But whenever anyone is reduced to publicly whining about how hard they’ve worked, and how unappreciated it is, and how it hasn’t gotten them where it should have, it’s a dead giveaway that they think they’re going to lose. Now let’s prove Trump correct by doubling down on voter registration, turnout, phone banking, and volunteering. Finish him!
