This morning Donald Trump approvingly tweeted a video of one of his own supporters yelling “white power!” Then hours later he (or his handlers) deleted the video, and the White House released a statement claiming that Trump somehow hadn’t correctly heard what was said.

This has naturally set off widespread outrage. Joe Biden is calling out Donald Trump in direct fashion:

Today the President shared a video of people shouting “white power” and said they were “great.” Just like he did after Charlottesville.

We’re in a battle for the soul of the nation — and the President has picked a side. But make no mistake: it’s a battle we will win.
