Donald Trump’s “Obamagate” stunt implodes
Donald Trump has had three and a half years to figure out a viable reelection strategy. It’s now clear that he doesn’t have one, and won’t have one, so he’s simply throwing things at the wall. Trump is also going increasingly senile, so he’s no longer even sure what his own script is at this point.
Instead Trump just keeps yelling the word “Obamagate” as if it means something, even though when he’s asked about it, he gives away that even he has no idea what he’s talking about. Tonight Trump simply tweeted “OBAMAGATE!” – in a sign that he really does have no idea how to frame this. The responses were anything but kind:
