Donald Trump did something right today for once, when he agreed not to attend the funeral of former First Lady Barbara Bush, who despised him. Instead, his wife Melania attended the funeral. This turned out to be a whole new problem – not for Melania, who acquitted herself well enough – but for Donald. Suffice it to say that even as images of Melania at the funeral were being splashed across televisions, Donald went on a whole new bender, probably due to who was sitting next to her.

Melania Trump was seated at the funeral next to President Barack Obama. The cameras showed the two of them engaged in conversation, with Melania displaying a big smile. She looked genuinely happy to be talking with Obama. That’s as opposed to the general lack of emotion she displays when she’s with Donald, apart from the occasional painfully forced smile. So how did Donald react to the image?

Right around the time everyone on Twitter was talking about Barack and Melania, here’s what Donald Trump tweeted: “Sylvester Stallone called me with the story of heavyweight boxing champion Jack Johnson. His trials and tribulations were great, his life complex and controversial. Others have looked at this over the years, most thought it would be done, but yes, I am considering a Full Pardon!” You have to know the background to understand where Donald is probably coming from on this.

The family of the late Jack Jackson unsuccessfully tried to convince President Obama to pardon him. Now that Donald Trump’s wife is on national television enjoying the company of Trump’s nemesis Obama, suddenly Trump is talking about how he’s going to do something that Obama refused to do. This feels like straight up jealousy.
