Something wicked this way comes. Something wicked came alright. It came in the form of malevolent winged vultures masquerading as Republicans who flew into their habitat — the Senate and House floors — and ripped away healthcare for millions.
But in the dust of this gray decision, let’s remember. Remember how things used to be. Do you remember Years and the years ago when we didn’t have the wonderful thing called Obamacare? Gosh, it seems like centuries ago. In those days, health insurance companies could discriminate against individuals with pre-existing conditions. They could make healthcare unaffordable for millions.
Bloodless and soulless corporations could make their coverage so outlandish and so expensive that their workers were hit with gross debt from the corporations they worked for. Then came Obamacare. What a tough time Democrats had! But they passed it alright. And they saved so many lives in doing so.
Obamacare was the ultimate sparking gold chess piece that said “Check Mate” to the human fu##ery that these corporations engaged in. All of a sudden, MASSES of people could get health insurance! It was almost a fairy-tale ending, something rare, if not unheard of, in politics.
However, because of the villainous GOP, many are now in danger of losing it. More bureaucratic paperwork. Higher premiums for many. “Undermining it.” The GOP has bene licking their chops at the thought of this since Obamacare became law. The GOP hates — hates with a passion — lifting people out of the darkness and into the light.
Something wicked sits at our doorsteps, spying on our bedrooms, ruining our healthcare coverage, devouring our happiness and poisoning the well with their slime. Something wicked this way LEFT. They all need to be voted out, the whole dirty lot of them. What they have caused is incalculable damage. And we must make sure they pay for it.
