Donald Trump, with his porcelain-fragile presidency on the verge of crumbling altogether, decided to try to seize the reins and take control of the message. But in the end, all he did was piss off the majority of the American public, government leaders, business leaders, and world leaders alike. Here’s our June 2nd look at how the past twenty-four hours have been yet another Day From Hell for Donald Trump:

Trump tried to play the “America first” card by announcing that he was pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord because he was elected by the people of Pittsburgh, not the people of Paris. But this immediately backfired, as the Mayor of Pittsburgh took to the airwaves to explain how Trump’s decision actually hurts his city, and to remind Trump that most people in Pittsburgh voted for Hillary Clinton – which we covered here.

After Trump’s climate announcement, which he tried to frame as being pro-business, the CEOs of two major U.S. companies resigned in protest from Trump’s White House advisory councils – as we covered here.

Then, because Donald Trump’s White House staff is as cartoonishly incompetent as ever, they admitted to the media that Trump was left “bewildered” when French President Emmanuel Macron put him in his place – as we covered here.

And no matter how much Donald Trump tries to make his Russia scandal go away, his moves at obstructing justice just keep backfiring on him. It was confirmed that James Comey will publicly testify next week that Trump tried to get him to end the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign. And it was also revealed that the FBI is now officially investigating Trump himself, and not just his campaign – which we covered here.
