JD Vance has made a big mistake
If I were JD Vance (and thank goodness I’m not), I’d be VERY, very watchful in my quest to be Donald Trump
anointed one. Despite what Mr. Vance MAY think, it will not be so easy for him. Here’s why: Donald Trump has not endorsed him as his successor yet. I have a funny feeling he never will.
This is because Vance is hypocritical even by MAGA standards. His name is far more likely to induce sneers and jeers rather than nods of approval. Now — Vance may think that turning into a parrot is the right strategy. And that is exactly what Mr. Vance has done.
Like the most colorful , blabbering parrot, Vance dutifully parrots back whatever Trump says. You can hear it. You can hear the echoes, the Trump echoes:
Trump –dark skin bad
Vance echo — bad. bad. Dark skin bad…
Trump — Ukraine bad
Vance echo — bad Ukraine, bad, bad, BAD
Trump — They’re eating the dogs, they’re eating the cats
Vance echo — cat eaters, dog eaters….
See what I mean?
This has been Vance’s strategy from the beginning. It is not hard to understand why.
The more I’m like Trump, the pipsqueak may well think, the more he will approve of me., the more he’ll love me, the more he’ll embrace me.
But there are flaws huge ones in that strategy.
As I said, Trump has not anointed him yet, and he even spoke about how, while Vance is doing a fine job, he has not decided who his successor will be.
Then there are the Trump progeny.
Both Eric Trump AND Don Junior have spoken in the past about possibly attempting a run for president; Eric, in fact, did so this week, saying it’d be easy.
If it came down to, let’s say, Vance or Don Junior or Vance or Eric — who do you think Trump would pick?
Vance is also being given all the dirty laundry jobs. Few have seen hide nor hither of him since he rolled into the office of VP, and he seems to have become almost — almost IRRELEVANT. That is not a good sign. So again — if I were Vance — (thank GOODNESS I AM NOT), I’d be really CAREFUL about those DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR and take a good look at your hero. Because I guarantee your hero is NOT looking back at YOU.
