Bamboozled.
The box must stay closed. I refer to the box in which lies cruelty, which slithers around inside, waiting longingly for the GOP to unlock it. And the GOP knows it — believe me they do.
Just ask Kevin Cramer. North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer has basically declared the GOP is trying to bamboozle the American people. In a conversation with CNN, Cramer expressed dismay that the big ugly bill is taking so long to pass, saying the longer it sits without passage, the harder it will be to pass.
Why? Because the bill STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN, that is why! I mean — the more it sits, rotting on Senators’ desks, the more info the American people find out about it, and that surely does not help the GOP’s case now.
So now “bamboozled” is the word of Choice from Neera Tanden, who said on Twitter that the GOP is rushing SO hard to get it passed because they are terrified that the more the American people learn what’s IN it, the more they will HATE It.
This bill is the Pandora’s box of the GOP, and in this box are, in no specific order:
Tax cuts for the wealthy
Cuts to SNAP, leaving many hungry, even hungrier than they already are
Medicaid cuts
Medicare cuts
No hope
No kindness
Lies
deceit
Cruelty
Indifference to human suffering
Hatred for their voters.
