So far today the White House has scheduled a Donald Trump briefing for 5pm, then announced that it was canceled, then put it back on the schedule for 5pm, and now delayed it to 5:30pm. This points to total chaos behind the scenes, as Trump’s handlers fight with each other over whether to let him do the briefing.

We all know that Trump himself isn’t within a million miles of mentally stable or cognitively competent. But now it appears that even his babysitters are no longer on the same page about how to coddle him. That means today’s briefing should be even more of a chaotic mess than it otherwise would have been.
