Steve Bannon has a plan. The fundraising scammer, Republican strategist, and pardon beneficiary wants Donald Trump to run for Congress in 2022. Bannon is also planning for a red wave to overtake House Democrats. Trump would leap over Kevin McCarthy, the next in line to be House Speaker.

Bannon’s legislative agenda would begin with President Joe Biden’s impeachment over voter fraud in the 2020 election. More specifically, the impeachment would call for the removal of Biden over election theft. Once Trump takes his place as third in line to the presidency, according to Newsweek, he would run, yet again, for the presidency.

Bannon has resumed his role as an advisor to the former, twice impeached presidential failure. Trump, who now resides in a very blue district of Florida, might have some difficulty beating Lois Frankel. In 2020, Frankel beat her Trumpian opponent by double digits. It is unlikely that Trump would have any more success if he had remained in New York. In other words, Bannon is selling false hope to a washed up Trump.

Trump’s current advisory team includes Bannon and deadbeat dad Jason Miller. In other news from the Office of the 45th President, Rudy Giuliani is no longer representing Trump in “any legal matters.” Removal of a lawyer under investigation for a client who faces both civil and criminal investigations is a wise move. At this time, Trump, Bannon, and Giuliani all face investigations in New York. Speaking practically, Trump and Giuliani are both defendants in the lawsuit filed this week by the NAACP and Democratic Representative Bennie Thompson. The suit alleges a conspiracy between Trump, Giuliani, and far-right groups, including Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, to incite the insurrection on January 6th.

Giuliani has been tossed onto the heap of unpaid lawyers and contractors that once worked for Trump. Giuliani is also a defendant in suits by Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems. Giuliani hit the talk show circuit alleging conspiracy theories about the election. It seems that Trump is still swimming in the swamp that he promised to drain.
