Marjorie Taylor Greene strikes again! She compares wearing masks to the Jewish star used in the holocaust: “You know we can look back in history where people were told to wear a gold star and they were definitely treated like second class citizens so much so that they were put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi Germany and this is exactly the type of abuse that Nancy Pelosi was talking about.”

This revelation was made on the Christian Broadcasting Network’s Real America’s Voice TV show “The Water Cooler.” She accused Pelosi of being a hypocrite for asking GOP members to prove they have all been vaccinated before allowing members to be in the House chamber without a mask.

The House chamber has the right to make the rules and they are trying to keep congresspeople and their aides safe during the pandemic.

“You can never compare health-related restrictions with yellow stars gas chambers and other Nazi atrocities. Such comparisons demean the Holocaust and contaminate American political speech,” the American Jewish Congress said in a tweet in response to Greene’s comments. “Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene must immediately retract and apologize.”

Every Democrat in Congress in both the House and Senate are fully vaccinated. In the Senate, 92% of the Republicans say they are vaccinated but only 45% of the House Republicans would say if they have been vaccinated. More than 100 Republicans decline to give their vaccine status. This caused Nancy Pelosi to leave the mask mandate in place.
