Zelenskyy will not yield
As I write this article, #PutinWarCrimes is trending on Twitter. Many have been killed as a result of the wrath of this maniac. Innocent children have been killed. They are bombing civilians. They bombed a children’s hospital. It’s genocide, plain and simple.
Many are condemning the people of Russia. But it is important to remember that for many of them, this is not real. They have only propaganda in Russia. Many have no actual idea what is going on. Zelenskyy will not yield. The people of Ukraine will never surrender. Surrendering isn’t an option. Their inner strength knows no limits. They are miracles of humanity.
And the world is angered. The world wants to stop Putin. This is the war of a bloody maniac. We stand with Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine for now and evermore. I know how hopeless many of you feel. I know how hopeless the world feels. War isn’t pretty. It’s full of pain and human suffering.
But Putin hasn’t won. And yes, this enrages him, and yes, the fighting goes on. But there are few who do not hate Putin now. There is virtually nobody on his side. He cannot go on like this. How this ends, I don’t know. I know we weep for the fallen, and we hope for peace.
I’m sure we all wish so badly we could make this all go away. Mike Pompeo once said, “Do you think Americans care about Fu**ing Ukraine?” I’d answer that with; Yes, Mike. Americans care greatly. At least most of us do. And we will continue to care and to love them until this horrible Putin-made battle is over.
