You break it, you bought it

Donald Trump makes me tired. His incompetence, his lies, his embellishments, and everything else just make me tired. From judges on down, he keeps being informed that he can’t do the things he’s trying to do, but he refuses to listen. I have never seen such an evil, bullheaded man before in my life. He has the nerve to call Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett “low IQ.” Yeah, that’s why she keeps one-upping Republicans. From her description of MTG as a bleach blonde bad built butch body, and more recently, her game called “Trump or trans,” Crockett is tuned into everything. Keep thinking she’s low IQ while she keeps the rest of us informed, including how much Trump has spent on golfing trips (to his own properties) during his very short time in office. Yet, he wants the rest of us to “suffer a little pain” as his government streamlining attempts cost Americans the very money they need to live. As far as I’m concerned, I would take 100 Jasmine Crocketts over one congressional Republican any day of the week. In addition to wasting taxpayer dollars, Trump has decided to wage war in an area he will not win: fighting the judiciary.

Chief Justice John Roberts is likely regretting his part in giving Trump broad immunity as a president, as Trump is taking full advantage. Roberts really has no one to blame (other than his fellow conservative justices) for Trump’s outlandish behavior and his attempts to control the judiciary. A group headed by Trump’s chief of staff Stephen Miller filed suit against Justice Roberts in response to the judicial arm’s failure to bow to Trump’s will. In their lawsuit, the America First Legal Foundation wants to “expose the agencies ideological capture by the left and restore accountability to the American people.” I’m sorry, but am I missing something? SCOTUS has never sided with the left. In fact, their rulings tend to favor conservatives. These idiots had the nerve to include: “The Judicial Conference and the Administrative Office are, therefore, executive agencies. Such agencies must be overseen by the President, not the courts.” What part of separation of powers does Trump not get? It has been this way throughout the life of this country, and it will not be changed to suit Donald Trump. We really need to get a handle on this nonsense, and Roberts said as much in his recent remarks.

The Independent reported that Roberts emphasized that the role of the judiciary is to “decide cases but, in the course of that, check the excesses of Congress or the executive.” Too bad they didn’t figure this out before they gave Trump the idea that he can do whatever he wants. Roberts specifically said: “In our Constitution, the judiciary is a coequal branch of government, separate from the others, with the authority to interpret the Constitution as law and strike down, obviously, acts of Congress or acts of the president. That innovation doesn’t work if the judiciary is not independent.” How SCOTUS plans to rein in the monster they created remains to be seen. SCOTUS created this problem; they need to fix it.
