You ain’t seen nothing yet
Rick Wilson, Co-founder of the Lincoln Project, posted this tweet which I think sums up the Maga cult best: “Surely, Donald Trump stealing nuclear secrets will be enough to break away Republicans from him. If y’all haven’t learned this lesson now, you never will. The man can eat a live baby on national television, and not a single Republican vote would give a shit.”
It’s true. At this point, the only ones supporting Donald Trump are his super-fans, the cult of Maga. And there is nothing anyone can do to budge Maga. Nothing that Trump does or could ever do will ever be enough for them.
And even if Maga admitted to themselves that Trump had feet of clay, I believe they would stand by him anyway. I think for Maga, “owning the libs” is a lot more important than the rule of law. I’m going to make a prediction. And that prediction is this: You ain’t seen nothing yet.
That’s right. The storm has been gathering, but I do not believe it’s peaked yet. I think there will be much more to come where Donald Trump is concerned. Why did Trump take these documents? Was he planning to sell them? That is what many think. That is what I think.
Selling top-secret Government secrets wouldn’t likely phase Trump in the least. This is because he has no love for our country, patriotism, or soul. Maga will never leave him even if and when new information comes to light. Their souls are now inked as dark as the blackest of sand, and no sins their master commits will ever move them.
