What is going on?
Today has turned out to be a ground shifting day in American political history, in ways both good and tragic. There was the politically motivated shooting of two Minnesota Democratic Party lawmakers. We don’t yet know all the details. But given that this comes on the heels of the Trump regime’s decision to violently throw a United States Senator to the ground, it’s enough to make you shake your head and wonder.
Elsewhere the news is much brighter. Millions of Americans, including many in deeply red states, took to the streets today to protest against Donald Trump and his evil attacks on immigrants. The protests were peaceful and got a ton of publicity – all of it good for our side and bad for Trump.
Meanwhile Trump went through with his military parade, which was – no offense to the military – boring. Trump wasted our money and our troops’ time with this stupid stunt, and it merely made him look like a low energy Kim Jong Un wannabe. I’ll have a lot more to say about all of this in the morning.
