What a joke
Donald Trump continues to be a danger to all Americans, in the sense that he’s a dementia riddled idiot who doesn’t understand what all can go wrong by threatening to attack Iran. But really, how can anyone take this guy seriously anymore? He’s always been a joke in one form or another. But these days, he’s become a complete and total joke.
Take, for instance, Trump’s ongoing public threats to attack Iran. Do you see Iran quivering in its boots? Nope. Because Iran knows what everyone on the world stage knows, and what everyone in U.S. politics knows. It’s also something that everyone in the media knows, though most of them won’t admit it. Trump’s “friend” Benjamin Netanyahu certainly knows it.
Even as Netanyahu continues to carry out a quasi-war against Iran, Netanyahu keeps finding ways to show up Trump in the process. Netanyahu leaked to the media that he carried out the attack against Iran against Trump’s wishes. Then Netanyahu leaked to the media that Trump had flip flopped and was now asking to be allowed to be part of the war – and that Netanyahu had told him no.
At this point the President of the United States is complete and total lapdog for the Prime Minister of Israel. When has that ever been the case? For that matter the President of the United States has so thoroughly lost the respect of Canadians, we’re now seeing Canada finally deciding to function more independently from the United States. The President of the United States is such a joke that countries that used to go along with whatever the United States wanted are now calling the shots in their relationship with the United States. That shouldn’t be possible.
Yet here we are. The media spent the previous four years pretending Trump didn’t have dementia while also pretending that President Biden did have dementia, and tens of millions of Americans were dumb enough to fall for a decomposing tub of lard, and now we have a President of the United States who might have less leverage on the world stage than any other leader who stands on it. What a joke.
