On Thursday night it was reported that Donald Trump’s whistleblower scandal involved Trump calling the president of Ukraine on the phone and making inappropriate promises if he was willing to help promote a phony scandal about Joe Biden, in the hope of tilting the 2020 election in his favor. For some reason this prompted the original author of the idiotic plot, Rudy Giuliani, to go on CNN and – well – confess.

In what felt like a failed screen test for A Few Good Men, Rudy Giuliani initially insisted on CNN that he didn’t ask Ukraine to target Joe Biden in the 2020 election, before suddenly blurting out that he did it and he was proud of it. Rudy’s confession was actually a legally admissible confession to a felony, thus ensuring that he’ll spend the rest of his life in prison unless he manages to convince Trump to try to pardon him. But then Rudy went home and apparently decided that his best course of action was to dig himself – and Trump – an even deeper hole.

Rudy asserted on Twitter late on Thursday night that “The Dem owned media is going crazy over Ukraine” before referring to “Hillary and Biden’s son.” It’s not a good sign when you’re bungling your words so badly, you’re accidentally implying that Hillary Clinton and Jo Biden have a son together. But then came the part where Rudy confessed on Trump’s behalf.

Here’s what Rudy Giuliani tweeted: “A President telling a Pres-elect of a well known corrupt country he better investigate corruption that affects US is doing his job.” Yep, you’re darn right Rudy just confessed to Donald Trump’s guilt. Now what will Trump do when he wakes up in the morning? Will he confess to his crime, or will he try to feed Rudy to the alligators?
